HOMETERMS OF USE
Terms of use.
What this website is, what an estimate from it means, and what we can and cannot promise. The short version: nothing here is a contract until somebody signs one.

Using this site
This site tells you about Midwest Roofing & Renovation and lets you get in touch. You are welcome to read it, print pages for your own use and send the link to your neighbor. Please do not use the forms or the chat to send spam, and do not try to break or overload the site. How the site handles your information is on the privacy page and the cookies page.
Estimates and prices
Nothing on this site is a price quote and nothing on it is a contract. We do not quote from the street, from a photograph or from a satellite picture, because the number would be wrong. A real estimate comes after somebody has been on the roof, and it is written down.
The inspection and the written estimate are free and carry no obligation. You keep the report whether or not you hire us. An estimate becomes a job when both sides sign a written agreement that says what is being done, for how much, and roughly when.
The chat and the damage checker
Answers in the “Ask the crew” chat come from a list of common questions or, when it is switched on, from an AI assistant, not from a person. The damage checker’s result is a rough guide from three answers, not an inspection. Both can be wrong. Neither is a quote, an estimate, a diagnosis of your roof or a promise about an insurance claim, and neither changes a signed agreement or a written warranty. For anything that matters, call us or book the free inspection.
Insurance claims
We document damage, photograph it, help you file, meet your adjuster on the roof and read the insurer’s scope line by line. If it comes in short of what the roof needs, we say so in writing and submit a supplement.
What the company is not: a public adjusting firm. In Illinois public adjusting is a licensed profession, and the law does not let the contractor repairing your home represent you on the insurance claim. Our project manager Monika De La Cruz holds an individual Illinois public adjuster license (No. 22364604). On jobs we repair she works as our project manager, not as your public adjuster, and we do not negotiate as your legal representative. You are free to hire a public adjuster of your own. Whether your claim is approved, and for how much, is your insurer’s decision, not ours. Anyone who promises you otherwise before the adjuster has stood on the roof is guessing.
Warranty
Our workmanship warranty is five years, in writing, given to you when the job is finished. It covers our work. The materials carry their manufacturer’s own warranty, which is the manufacturer’s to honor, and its length depends on what you chose; on some fiber cement siding it runs to fifty years.
What each warranty covers and leaves out is set by the written warranty itself. Nothing on this website adds to it or takes anything away from it.
Licensing
We hold IL roofing lic. #104.016186. We are licensed, bonded and insured, and GAF factory-certified.

Links to other sites
This site links to Google (maps, reviews and privacy tools), to Facebook and Meta, and to the company that built it. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content or for what they do with your visit.
The website itself
We try to keep this site accurate and current, but it is provided as it is, with no promise that it is free of errors or always available. Prices, timelines and material availability change. Do not treat anything here as advice for your specific roof until somebody has looked at it. The warranties we give on work are the written ones that come with the job.
Limits on liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss that comes from using this website, from it being unavailable, or from a decision made only from what it says. Nothing on this page limits what we owe you under a signed agreement or a written warranty.
Which law applies
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, and anything that cannot be settled by a phone call belongs in the state or federal courts sitting in Cook County, Illinois.

If these terms change, we update the date at the top. Questions go to (773) 851-2239, Office (773) 657-3036 or midwestrenovationservices@gmail.com.
