01

How much does a new roof cost?

It depends on the size and pitch of the roof, how many layers come off, and the shingle you choose, so we don’t quote from the street. The inspection and the written estimate are free, and when a repair would do we show you the repair number next to the replacement number. Financing is available.

02

How long does the work take?

Repairs are usually done the same day. A typical residential re-roof takes one to three days once the materials are on site; siding and gutters run on their own schedule, which we put in writing with the estimate.

03

Is the inspection really free?

Yes. We walk the roof, photograph what we find, and leave you a written report and estimate you keep, whether or not you ever hire us. No obligation.

04

How often should I have my roof inspected?

Once a year, and after any major storm. The yearly check covers the roof, the siding and the soft metals: flashing, gutters and vents. Small problems found early stay small, and the inspection is free.

05

Repair or replace, how do you decide?

Most calls are repairs, and that’s what goes in the estimate. A replacement is the right call when the deck underneath is wet, the shingles are at the end of their life across the whole slope, or the last roof was laid over a problem. We show you the photos either way.

06

Do you work with my insurance company?

It does not matter who wrote your policy. We document the damage, help you file, meet the adjuster on the roof, and read the insurer’s scope line by line, submitting a supplement if it comes in short. See Storm & insurance.

07

Is there a public adjuster on your team?

Yes. Monika De La Cruz, our project manager, holds an Illinois public adjuster license (No. 22364604), so our photos, reports and estimates are built the way a claim is read. On a job we repair she works as our project manager, not as your public adjuster: Illinois law does not let the company fixing your roof represent you on the claim. You can always hire a public adjuster of your own, and we work alongside them. See Storm & insurance.

08

How fast can you come out after a storm?

Active leaks go first. Call (773) 851-2239 and say the ceiling is dripping. For everything else, Paul’s crew calls back within one business day, usually sooner.

09

What warranty do I get?

A five-year workmanship warranty, in writing, on top of the manufacturers’ coverage on the materials, up to 50 years on some fiber cement siding.

10

Are you licensed and insured?

Illinois roofing license #104.016186. Licensed, bonded and fully insured, and our installers are GAF factory-trained and certified.

11

Do you handle permits and HOA paperwork?

Yes, zoning, permits and HOA approvals are ours to chase, not yours.

12

Do you offer financing?

Yes. Ask when you book the inspection and we’ll lay out the options alongside the estimate.

13

Do you do flat roofs and commercial buildings?

Yes. Asphalt shingle for pitched roofs; flat and low-slope systems for garages, two- and three-flats, commercial units and industrial buildings.

14

Can you install new siding over my old siding?

Often yes. If the existing sheathing and walls are dry and solid, new siding can go over what’s there, less demolition, lower cost. If they aren’t, we’ll show you why a tear-off is the right call.

15

Where do you work?
