HOMECOOKIES
Cookies and site storage.
Everything this site keeps in your browser, what each item does, how long it stays and how to change your mind. Measurement cookies only appear if you press Accept.

The cookie banner
The first time you open the site, a banner at the bottom of the screen asks whether you accept cookies. It has two buttons of the same size, Accept and Decline, and a link to this page.
- Accept loads the Meta Pixel and, if we have set them up, Google Analytics 4 and the Google Ads tag. They set the cookies in the second table below and receive what the privacy page describes.
- Decline loads none of them. No cookie is set, Meta’s and Google’s tracking code never runs, and the site works exactly the same.
- Until you answer, the site behaves as if you declined.
Your answer is saved in this browser and applies to every page and open tab of this site. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat that as Decline, even over an Accept you gave here before you turned it on, and do not show the banner at all. You can still open it from Cookie settings.
What the site itself stores
This site’s own code sets no cookies. It keeps four small items in your browser’s storage. mw-consent sits in local storage and stays until you clear this site’s data in your browser. The other three sit in session storage, which belongs to one tab: they go when you close it, although a browser that reopens your tabs after a restart can bring them back. Two of the four can leave your device, and only inside something you send: a form or a chat message.
| Name | What it does | How long |
|---|---|---|
mw-consent | Your answer to the cookie banner (accepted or declined), when you gave it and, if your browser was sending Global Privacy Control at the time, a note of that. Never sent anywhere. | Until you clear site data |
mw-loaded | Remembers that you have already seen the opening screen, so it does not play again on every page you open. Never sent anywhere. | Until the tab closes |
mw-attr-v1 | The first page you landed on, the site that sent you (if it was another site) and any campaign tags in the link, such as utm_ tags or an ad click ID (gclid, fbclid and similar). Kept whatever you choose on the banner. It travels only inside a form sent through our form service, so we can tell which ads and listings bring requests. | Until the tab closes |
mw-chat-v1 | The chat conversation (up to the last 40 messages) and whether the window was open, so changing pages does not lose it. When our AI chat is switched on, your recent messages go to it to get an answer. | Until the tab closes |
Cookies set only after you accept
Meta’s and Google’s code sets these on this site’s own address, and only after you press Accept. The Google ones appear only if Google Analytics or Google Ads is set up on the site at the time. The lifetimes are each company’s standard ones, and a return visit can renew them.
| Cookie | Set by | What for | How long |
|---|---|---|---|
_fbp | Meta Pixel | Recognizes your browser from visit to visit, so Meta can measure our ads and show them to people who have visited this site. | Up to 90 days |
_fbc | Meta Pixel | Set only when you arrive from a Facebook or Instagram link that carries Meta’s click ID. Lets Meta credit a request to that ad or post. | Up to 90 days |
_ga | Google Analytics 4 | Tells one browser from another so visits and pages can be counted, without naming you to us. | Up to 2 years |
_ga_<ID> | Google Analytics 4 | Keeps track of the current visit for our Analytics account. | Up to 2 years |
_gcl_au | Google Ads | Links a phone tap or a request to an earlier Google ad. | Up to 90 days |
_gcl_aw | Google Ads | Set only when you arrive from a Google ad link, to hold its click ID. Similar _gcl_ cookies cover other kinds of Google ad click. | Up to 90 days |
When their code runs here, Meta and Google can also use cookies on their own addresses, such as facebook.com or doubleclick.net (Meta’s fr is one), where your browser allows it. This site cannot read or delete those. They fall under the Meta privacy policy and the Google privacy policy. No ads are shown on this site itself.
Changing your mind
- Press Cookie settings at the bottom of any page. The banner opens again and shows your current setting.
- Choose Decline after an earlier Accept, and the site switches Meta and Google off on that page, deletes the cookies in the table above from this site’s address and loads neither on later pages. If one slips back in, it is removed on the next page you open.
- Choose Accept after a Decline, and they load from then on.
Browser controls
- Every browser can block or delete cookies and site data for a single site. Look for “Site settings” or “Privacy” in your browser’s menu. Clearing site data also clears your cookie choice, so the banner asks again.
- Private or incognito windows drop everything above when you close them.
- Google publishes an opt-out add-on for Google Analytics at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout. It covers Google Analytics only.
- Blocking all of it does not break this site. The forms, the phone numbers, the checker and the chat keep working. If your browser blocks site storage, the banner has nowhere to keep your answer and asks again on each page.
